What a great way to mark the launch of Tee & Torque, and firstly a massive thank you to everyone that came along and supported us in our first event.
The Car Meet
The day started at Devils Dyke for a car meet in glorious weather, with the sun shining and clear blue skies offering breathtaking views of the Sussex countryside.
Joining us for the car meet we had an iconic 1984 Porsche 930 Turbo with its infamous whale tail, a mint E46 M3 cabriolet, a McLaren 570s (which rather humorously was a loaner whilst the owner’s Ferrari 488 was in for repair after an elderly lady backed into it…), a latest generation Audi RS3 in a striking matte black finish, a timeless Aston Martin Vantage with the larger 4.7 litre V8 and two Porsche 911 Carrera 4Ss, a 996 generation hard top and a 997 cabriolet.
The Convoy Drive
After spending some time getting to know each other and admiring one another’s cars, we enjoyed a spirited convoy drive on some of the finest driving roads in the area, with professional photography and videography en route capturing some stunning content of the cars (check out the gallery page on our website!).
Arrival at Mannings Heath
Basking in the sun on the Mannings Heath terrace, we enjoyed hot drinks and bacon rolls before getting dialled in on the practice facilities.
The Competition
18 holes of friendly competition followed, with the live leaderboard app keeping everyone informed of the standings and providing much entertainment on the way round. Rather embarrassingly given his co-founder role in Tee & Torque, Spencer decided to have the best ever gross round of his life to claim a joint victory with Ryan Maidment. Full results below:

Wrapping Up
A thoroughly enjoyable, and much needed after the 27 degree heat, post round refreshment on the terrace gave us all a chance to reflect on the highlights of the round, before a delightful meal and prize giving ceremony drew the event to a close.

It was so great to hear all the positive feedback from the group about the organisation and friendly environment on the day. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and providing a premium experience, and we’re already looking forward to the next one at the Dyke Golf Club next month!
