April 1st delivered one of those standout Tee & Torque days, the perfect blend of cars, driving, and golf, all wrapped up with great people and even better conditions.
Caffeine & Machine Start
We kicked things off at the ever-iconic Caffeine and Machine, who generously opened up early just for us. An automotive hotspot at the best of times, it proved the perfect setting to get everyone together over some excellent coffee before the day ahead.
The turnout was seriously impressive, with over 15 cars lining the car park. The standout? An incredible line-up of Porsche 911s spanning generations, from a 1979 Super Carrera all the way through to a brand new 2025 GT3 Touring.
Alongside them, the variety was spot on: a Corvette C8, a pair of V8 wagons in the form of an Audi RS4 and Mercedes C63 AMG, a Ferrari 360, McLaren 600LT, and a strong showing from British icons with a Jaguar F-Type and Aston Martin Vantage S. A proper enthusiast’s mix.
Convoy Chaos (and Redemption)
Fuelled by caffeine, we rolled out for the convoy, beautifully mapped by New Roads, who once again delivered a route packed with great roads and scenery.
However, in true convoy fashion, things didn’t quite go to plan at first. Just moments after setting off, a tractor pulled out directly in front of the group and held us up for a solid 10 minutes. Not ideal…
That said, once we finally got past, it was absolutely worth it. The roads opened up, the convoy came to life, and we managed to capture some seriously epic rolling content of the cars in action. A slow start, but a strong finish.
Arrival at Hayling
Pulling into Hayling Golf Club, we were greeted with a dedicated, sectioned-off parking area allowing all the cars to be displayed together. Seeing the full line-up, especially the 911 generations parked side by side, looked incredible and drew plenty of attention.
Before teeing off, we were treated to a traditional glass of port on the 1st tee, a touch of class and the perfect way to start the round.
Conditions were about as good as it gets for Hayling. No wind, dry underfoot, and a course that was running firm and fast, ideal for scoring and thoroughly enjoyable to play.
Clubhouse, Curry & Competition
Post-round, we headed into the clubhouse for a well-earned beer and a superb chicken curry before getting into the prize giving.

Nearest the Pin:
Hole 5: Darren Gough – sticking it to 5 feet (a strong debut from our first England cricket legend at a Tee & Torque event!).
Hole 11: Keith Ang – a beautifully struck pitching wedge, landing right by the flag.
Longest Drive:
Big Dave Sebuyira – absolutely sent one over 300 yards on Hole 7!
Individual Competition:
