Our members-only 2026 Kick-Off Event delivered everything that defines Tee & Torque; rare access, shared passion and a seamless blend of automotive excellence and golfing performance.
A Rolling Start
Before we arrived at our main destination, the day began in true Tee & Torque fashion; coffee, conversation and a growing line-up of exceptional cars.
A group of members met en route at Maddings Cafe for an early stop, where fellow Porsche community, Tribal Gruppe, were hosting their own car meet. What began as a simple rendezvous quickly turned into a shared gathering, with even more cars to admire and even more enthusiasts to connect with.
Beautifully maintained examples, thoughtful modifications and plenty of conversation created the perfect warm-up. It was a reminder of how collaborative and welcoming the wider car community can be, and how the journey is often just as enjoyable as the destination.
With caffeine levels topped up and engines warmed, we rolled on together towards something very special…
Behind Closed Doors at MSO
Our first official stop: McLaren Group Special Operations (MSO).
Members were given a private, behind-the-scenes tour of McLaren’s bespoke and heritage division, home to some of the rarest and most valuable cars the brand has ever produced.
With no filming or photography permitted, the experience felt even more exclusive. It allowed us to fully absorb the craftsmanship on display; from one-off commissions to intricate restorations and highly personalised builds.
The attention to detail was extraordinary. Precision, patience and pride in workmanship were evident throughout. It was a powerful reminder that true performance is not just engineered, it is crafted.
Our sincere thanks to the MSO team for the warm welcome and for opening the doors to such a remarkable facility.
The Driver Tune-Up
From automotive precision to golfing precision.
A short drive later, we arrived at Precision Golf for a focused “Driver Tune-Up” session. Greeted by the &Kaffein team and their delightful, premium baked goods and coffee service, members then experienced first-hand Europe’s leading club fitting process, working with expert technicians to optimise launch conditions, spin rates and overall performance ahead of the season.
It was a fitting parallel to the morning’s experience, marginal gains discovered through expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
Huge thank you to the Precision team for hosting us, kindly gifting us some golf goodies and delivering an experience that perfectly complemented the day.
2026 Is Underway
With the year now officially launched, attention turns to our first all-in-one signature event of the season on 1st April; a car meet at Caffeine & Machine (The Hut), followed by a convoy drive and golf day at Hayling Golf Club, all sponsored by our friends at Quay Building Services, the leading Hampshire based renovations company.
If the energy from our Kick-Off is anything to go by, 2026 is set to be another great year of growth for Tee & Torque!
